Teacher Prize

The National Award “Teacher of Kazakhstan” is held by the Public Initiatives Foundation with the purpose of selecting the best candidates — “Top-10 KZ” — to participate in the Global Education Award “Global Teacher Prize,” who are then awarded the title of Ambassador of the Global Teacher Prize.

Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools educators have been participating in the global educational award “Global Teacher Prize” since 2019, thanks to the support of the International Charitable Foundation Varkey GEMS Foundation. The transparency of the selection process is monitored by the international auditing company PricewaterhouseCoopers.
